Through the Lens of Time

It’s amazing how time flies—and how a simple snapshot, taken years ago, can bring back a flood of memories and feelings. A faded photograph, a familiar song, or even the scent of something long forgotten can unlock a doorway to the past. In an instant, we’re back in the middle of a moment that once seemed ordinary but now feels priceless.
My journey with photography began when my parents handed me my first camera – a Brownie Automatic—just before we lined up to enter Disney World on its opening day. That snapshot captured more than just a moment; it sparked a lifelong fascination with preserving time through images.
After three decades in private practice as a podiatrist, life’s little speedbumps nudged me into early retirement. What might have felt like an ending became an unexpected beginning. Today, I travel the world with my better half, a Conde Nast travel specialist Sophia Kulich, who, as she puts it, “sells what she knows.” Together, we explore cultures, landscapes, and quiet corners of the world—each journey documented through the lens of my camera.
This collection is more than a visual diary. It’s a tapestry of memory, emotion, and rediscovery. Each photograph is a portal—an invitation to pause, feel, and remember.
